Improving the health and wellbeing of people who are homeless

We want to ensure that people who are homeless have the opportunities and support they need to improve and sustain their health and wellbeing.

This requires an increase in the number of local areas with a strong commitment and activity to improve homeless health, as well as investment in specialist homelessness mental health support.

Our Homeless Health Matters campaign ran from October 2014 - October 2015 and engaged Health and Wellbeing Boards around England and MPs throughout the UK. We also worked to influence national-level policy by presenting a petition to the Secretary of State for Health.

More information for local health leaders can be found here.
