St Mungo's podcast

Our staff and clients have great stories to tell and you can hear them in the St Mungo's podcast.

You can listen to the podcast directly from this page, or through iTunes (where we'd love you to subscribe or write a review). The podcast is edited by our staff and clients at the recording studio in our Endell Street hostel, where homeless people are trained in to work in a studio, including music skills, song writing, editing and recording.

St Mungo's podcast 1

The first St Mungo's podcast was recorded when international jazz singer Madeleine Peyroux visited our Endell Street project while she was in London for the launch of her latest album, 'Bare Bones'. She talked to Steve (a musician and former resident who is involved in the studio) about music and some of the difficulties they've both faced in life. We also hear them play one of Madeleine's recent songs together with other residents, staff and musicians.
