Ending homelessness, rebuilding lives

Make it someone’s last night on the streets

Rough sleeping can become a relentless cycle that’s incredibly difficult to escape from. And without urgent help it can drastically shorten, and even take, lives. St Mungo’s is one of the only organisations whose frontline workers are out, every night, to bring people in from the streets.

Together, we can make tonight the last night on the streets for thousands of people.

We're here to end homelessness

Last year tens of thousands of people experienced homelessness or rough sleeping in England. That’s why we’re here.

We’re on the streets, every day, meeting people sleeping rough. We’re running hostels and emergency accommodation, giving people the time and space they need to recover. And we’re here for the long haul, helping people to learn new skills, find jobs and reconnect.

Last year we ran 161 services, supporting 28,359 people. On any given night our work means that – on average – 2,735 people have a bed, and somewhere safe and warm to stay.

We’re here to end homelessness. Help us always be there.

Cost of living crisis

We are facing a once in a generation cost of living crisis which will harm the poorest the most. And it is already having a direct impact on the people we support.

“My first thought when I wake up is to take my medication and then think do I need to spend any money today. I try very hard not to spend money every day.” – Mini, St Mungo’s client

We’re working with Government to influence decisions, and supporting people in our services and accommodation.
