Homeless people can face chronic health problems, some of which may finally lead to 'end of life' care, palliative services or hospitals. What does St Mungo's do to help those facing the end of their lives, and those supporting them?

Our Palliative Care service was set up in 2008 in partnership with Marie Curie Cancer Care, and with original funding from the Department of Health.

We have worked on research with Marie Curie about spotting signals for those in need of end of life care.

In 2013 we have also jointly published a new Homelessness and End of Life Care resource pack for staff working with people who are homeless.

In addition, we have contributed to national Dying Matters guidance
