Gift Aid

Gift Aid is one of the simplest and most effective ways of giving more to charity, and it won't cost you a penny - you just need to be a UK taxpayer.

It is a scheme introduced by HMRC (Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs), which allows us to claim back the basic rate tax you've already paid on the money you donate. We can reclaim tax from all donations you've made in the last 6 years, and all that you make in the future. That's an extra 25p for every £1 you give. At absolutely no extra cost to you! In addition, the government is giving an extra 3p in every £1 for all gifts made between April 2008 and April 2011.

Please remember that what you pay in income/capital gains tax must at least equal the amount we will reclaim against your gift.
