Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation

The Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation has kindly provided £1,050 to go towards three new home starter kits for three newly housed ex-rough sleepers. Moving into a new home can be exciting and stressful but for those coming from the streets with nothing, it can also be expensive. This gift will ensure three people who are homeless receive a warm welcome in their new home with an essential starter kit including items such as a bed, pots, cutlery and a kettle. Direct support like this helps rough sleepers to recover from their experiences on the street and prevents them from returning.
