Who are our Clients

DogOnSt_CallingGovtoAct

The people who use our services have a diversity of backgrounds and experiences, but there are many common themes.

More than half of our residents have severe physical health problems, and mental health and/or addiction problems. In addition to their homelessness, a typical client will have several other challenges to face - ranging from dyslexia to issues with alcohol and drugs.

Many have experienced significant trauma - in childhood; in the armed forces; on the streets. Most people who become homeless are very isolated; many have lost all contact with their friends and families. Our clients' achievements as they work towards recovery are even greater considering the significant hurdles they have overcome.
