Emergency shelters
An emergency shelter often provides the first step towards recovery for people who have been sleeping rough.
Here, staff work with them to:
- assess their particular needs
- help them claim the benefits that enable us to house them in longer-term accommodation.
Residents can see the on-site GP to address their often worrying health conditions, and can also begin to adjust to life in a staffed hostel environment.
