Moving on

The lack of 'move-on' accommodation available to people who are ready to leave the hostel environment is a widely-acknowledged problem.

At St Mungo's we are doing our best to address this:

  • we provide semi-independent housing as a next step from living in a hostel
  • our tenancy sustainment team aims to help people keep their own homes once they move out of supported housing
  • our resettlement workers help people to progress to new accommodation (with St Mungo's or elsewhere).
