Putting Down Roots at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2009
In May 2009 a group of St Mungo's volunteer gardeners, on the Putting Down Roots project, along with participants on the Bricks and Mortar training programme, took part in the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, and got the chance to help with construction and planting scheme of 'The Key' Garden.
One of the largest gardens in the competition, 'The Key' was a joint calaboration with other homeless agencies across the country, and went on to win a Silver award in the 'Best Show Garden' category.
