Cold weather kills. When the temperatures plummet, rough sleeping can become life threatening.

Give the gift of warmth this winter by donating to St Mungo's. We provide a bed and support to 3,150 people, on any given night. This helps people experiencing homelessness off the streets, out of the cold and into warmth and safety.

About St Mungo's

St Mungo's is one of the leading homelessness charities in the UK. We help people at every stage of recovery from homelessness.

Outreach

St Mungo’s outreach teams go out each night to meet people who are homeless and to help them off the streets. With 17 outreach teams we are one of the largest providers of outreach services in the country.

StreetLink, the national referral line managed by St Mungo's in partnership with Homeless Link, is the main service the public can use to let us know about someone they are concerned about who is sleeping rough. The information is used to help outreach teams locate them and support them off the streets.

About St Mungo's

Accommodation

For anyone facing homelessness, and particularly for people who are sleeping rough, our first priority is to make sure that they have somewhere safe and secure to sleep. Different people need different forms of accommodation, so we have a variety of properties. People can be referred to our accommodation services through local authorities and other partners in the areas we work.

Each night we offer a bed and support to more than 3,150 people across the South and South West. We operate a range of accommodation services, from basic shelters or hostels, through to supported and semi-independent housing, to help people at every stage of their recovery from homelessness.

Recovery

People can, and do, recover from the problems that cause homelessness. At the heart of all of our services is our commitment to empower the individual and support people in their recovery journey.

We have Recovery Colleges across the south and south west of England.  We believe that learning can be a life-changing experience and make a real difference to people’s recovery and wellbeing. That is why we offer a range of skills and employment services to help people thrive after homelessness.
