Apache Capital kindly chose to support St Mungo’s as their 2023 charity of the year.
From organising an office village fete to a cycle challenge, they were committed to helping people experiencing homelessness throughout the year. Apache Capital selected St Mungo’s due to a clear alignment with their business in real estate.
Apache Capital set a fundraising goal of £2,710, as according to research in January 2023, at least 271,000 people were recorded as experiencing homelessness. They surpassed their goal and raised an impressive £3,006 for St Mungo’s.
“When looking to select our first Charity of the Year, St Mungo’s as one of the UK’s leading homelessness charities was a natural choice for a Build to Rent advisory firm.
"Whether cycling 271,000 metres in a day or providing Xmas gifts to people benefitting from St Mungo’s hospitality, as well as other events during the year, we have sought to make a difference, both through fundraising and active participation in the charity’s work.
"St Mungo’s does essential work in helping people who have experienced homelessness to rebuild their lives; we hope our efforts have provided support and raised awareness of the challenges faced by many and how these can be addressed. We are very pleased to have had the opportunity to work alongside such an important organisation.”Andrew Berman, Apache Capital
The Cycle Challenge was a key highlight of the year, with teams cycling 271,000 metres on two exercise bikes. The event was a great success, creating a high level of positive team morale and spirit, as well as helping them to raise 80% of their fundraising target.
Thank you to everyone at Apache Capital for your incredible support throughout the year! We are so grateful for you championing our work.
