As a valued member of our business community, this page gives you exclusive access to all the materials you need to make supporting St Mungo’s a fantastic experience for you and your colleagues.
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Payment Systems Regulator (PSR), have been a committed supporter of St Mungo’s for the past few years.
From organising cake competitions to book sales, they have been vital in supporting people experiencing homelessness.
A key highlight from this year was five colleagues taking on the UK’s highest freefall abseil in June, raising over £1,700 collectively.
Vicky Pilton, PSR, shared her experience of the event.
“As I watched someone from the office abseil from the orbital in a thunderstorm [for another charity], I thought what a crazy fool!
“I would never have thought a few years later I would be the crazy fool, especially with a fear of heights! I have always strived however to push myself outside of my comfort zone and truly experience all life can offer and to also at the same time help others.
“St Mungo's helps thousands to rebuild their lives across their 161 services for people who have experienced homelessness. We easily forget that this could happen to anyone and if I myself was ever made homeless, I would like to hope that organisations such as St Mungo's would be the lifeline I need to get back on my feet.”Vicky Pilton
Collectively, the FCA and PSR have committed many hours of support throughout the year, particularly during the festive period.
In December 2022, they collected, wrapped and delivered gifts to 85 St Mungo’s clients. This year they are aiming to reach many more clients and services. Thank you to everyone at the FCA and PSR for all your support.
