This course is suitable for volunteers in client facing roles to understand the support needs of those suffering from poor mental health. This module aims to provide an understanding of mental health and how clients are affected and what support is available.

Emma Bell and Emma Friend from our Assertive Contact Engagement Team (ACE) lead a specialist session on understanding mental health in relation to our clients. Many of our clients have complex needs including mental health issues. Come along to learn more about how to support people with mental health needs and look after yourself in your work.
