Jim's Story
Jim left care at 17 with just £35 to his name and, without the support he needed, went on to spend many years sleeping rough.
After years struggling to cope, he eventually met three St Mungo's project workers who helped him to rebuild his life. After a few months Jim finally moved into his own flat.
'It feels like home.'
Jim is making changes for the better every day. He has signed up to a training course to volunteer with St Mungo's, so he can help other people in their recovery too. When asked what would have happened to him without St Mungo's, Jim said:
'I'd be dead by now. Guaranteed.'
Your support makes a vital difference to people like Jim. Help change a homeless person's life this winter.
