For thousands of people, rough sleeping can become a relentless cycle that’s incredibly difficult to escape from. Without a home, it’s almost impossible to find a job. Without a job, you can’t afford a home. And without urgent help, homelessness severely shortens, or even takes, lives.

Rough sleeping has been on the rise. With the increased pressures of the cost of living crisis, we need to prepare for this to continue.

But with your support, St Mungo’s frontline workers can help more people sleeping rough and find them safe beds in from the cold. Your donation can make sure more people have their last night on the streets – and their first night of a new life.

Hannah's story

For Hannah, life on the streets was hard.

She was attacked and held at knifepoint. Sadly, it is a similar story for many other women facing homelessness. She spent most of her time on the move, sleeping on buses, too scared to sleep rough in fear of being assaulted.

That was until Amber, one of our outreach workers, found Hannah and got her into safety. Hannah is no longer on the move and has a place to call home.

Help make it someone like Hannah's last night on the streets.
