No Second Night Out

How your help stops rough sleeping in its tracks. Our No Second Night Out project.

Launched in 2011, No Second Night Out (NSNO) in London operates as a rapid response service to make sure that, wherever possible, a rough sleeper’s first night on the streets is also their last night on the streets.

By intervening early, our No Second Night Out project aims to reduce the number of people sleeping rough in the long term.

We believe in utilising clients strengths and needs to better support them off the streets and resettle in areas where they have good support networks

Randy Asante is the manager at the No Second Night Out hub in North London. He praised his team’s expertise around housing legislation and accommodation pathways in London and across the country.

No Second Night Out works closely with outreach teams across the capital. Outreach workers bring people in to one of three St Mungo’s NSNO hubs for intensive support and our staff then work hard to identify a viable, safe housing option for each person, ideally within 72 hours.
