Virtual Christmas Collection

Every Christmas, our brilliant volunteers head to train stations armed with a collection tin to raise money for people experiencing homelessness. Sadly, social distancing restrictions mean we can’t fundraise at stations this year.

That’s why we’re taking Christmas collections online, and you can join in! Help us to replace the tens of thousands we’re set to lose this year by creating your own Virtual Christmas Collection. Taking part is easy and can be done from home.

Simply set up a page on JustGiving, share the link with friends and family and ask them to donate. The money you raise will be added to the Virtual Collection team total which we’ll announce in February 2021.

I’ve collected for St Mungo’s for the past three Christmases. Each year, people give generously because of the cause. I thought I’d have to persuade people but, the opposite is true. The best thing about fundraising for St Mungo’s is that you’re doing something practical to help. The money you raise could not only help support someone away from the streets for the night, but give them a chance to begin to rebuild their life. If you’re thinking about taking part in a Virtual Collection this Christmas – don’t hesitate. Now more than ever, St Mungo’s need people to fundraise.
