Why take part?
For those unfortunate enough to find themselves homeless at winter, finding shelter and staying dry are a constant battle. Rough sleeping in these conditions can cause trench foot, pneumonia and tuberculosis.
These brutal realities can be avoided and we are challenging our supporters to help us raise awareness by making a splash and raising some cash to help homeless people battle these unforgiving conditions.Sign up now
Jo and Rai took on the Cornish sea

"We were both looking forward to some hot chocolate and a bath when we finished, but when you’re homeless you just don’t have that luxury – that really struck a chord with both of us”

St Mungo's swimming group
Amanda, a keen swimmer and support worker at a St Mungo’s hostel decided to help set up a swimming club for residents. We spoke to the group about the benefits of swimming and how it has helped them in their recovery from homelessness.
"We had a lot of fun. Swimming is very freeing and it was great for people who hadn’t been in such a long time."
