Ed Sheeran, Stephen Fry, Phil Spencer, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Angellica Bell, 5 After Midnight and Chizzy Akudolu are among some of the high profile people to show support for St Mungo’s Woolly Hat Day 2018.

Popular personalities have joined forces with homelessness charity St Mungo’s to show their support for Woolly Hat Day 2018.

Now in its eighth year, Woolly Hat Day sees thousands of people donning beanies, caps and berets to help St Mungo’s raise money and awareness to support homeless people across the country.

With the number of people who are sleeping rough more than doubling since 2010, St Mungo’s is working to raise vital funds which would make life-changing differences to people who are homeless.

There are lots of ways for people to take part and help:
•Text WOOL18 followed by an amount of your choice to 70070 (e.g. ‘WOOL18 £2’ to donate £2)
•Visit the Woolly Hat Day website to see other ways to get involved
•Follow the action on Facebook StMungosUK, Twitter @stmungos and Instagram St Mungo’s
•If you are near Westfield Shopping centres or London underground stations you will see a digital campaign which you can take part in and upload your hat selfie at #WHDSeflie
