Rebecca Sycamore is the Executive Director of Strategy and Development.
Rebecca has worked in homelessness throughout her career. As a student she volunteered in women’s crisis centres. Her first role in homelessness was at St Mungo’s over 20 years ago when she was a Supported Housing Officer working in a supported housing project for people experiencing poor mental health in Westminster. She was a specialist social worker, helping homeless people experiencing mental health problems for the London Borough of Ealing and went on to hold positions with Crisis before moving to Homeless Link, where she worked firstly with London homelessness services and then organisations across England. She was Director of External Affairs at Broadway from 2010 and led Fundraising and Communications at St Mungo’s from 2014. In her current role, she heads up the Strategy and Development department, which includes fundraising, policy and communications, support service development and property growth and development. Rebecca holds an MSc in Applied Social Science, a Diploma in Social Work and is in the middle of a professional Doctorate with Middlesex University.
