Recruitment and training

As part of the volunteer application process we ask you to attend a local interview or recruitment session and to complete some training (online or face to face and eLearning).

Below you will find the dates we are running the online training sessions over the next few months.

If you are unable to attend any of the required components of application process for the dates currently available, but are still keen on volunteering, that is no problem at all. Please email volunteer@mungos.org to discuss in more detail.

For any questions you may have on the application process, please see our FAQs.

Recruitment sessions (ON HOLD)

Our Volunteer Recruitment Sessions are your opportunity to get to know St Mungo’s and the role you have applied for in more detail.

The session is split into two parts over two hours:

  • Part 1: a central induction presentation where you will learn more about the homelessness sector and the range of services that St Mungo’s provides.
  • Part 2: a group interview with other volunteers, where we will ask you a few questions to find out more about your interest in volunteering with St Mungo’s, and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

Attending a recruitment session is mandatory for all new volunteers.

See below for details of recruitment sessions in London and Bristol. London sessions are in orange, Bristol are in blue.

To book onto a recruitment session please email volunteer@mungos.org or call 020 3856 6160 with your available dates.
