Move On Volunteer

It’s fantastic that you’d like to find out more about volunteering at St Mungo’s. Bristol Move on Services provides semi-independent supported accommodation throughout the Bristol and Kingswood area to adults who are at risk of or have a recent history of homelessness. Clients are given a two year fixed term tenancy and supported by a floating support worker on a weekly basis. Through client led action plans, the floating support worker works with each client to improve their financial situation, physical health and wellbeing, increase resilience to homelessness, and ultimately aid the client to move on positively to their own independent long term housing. We are very excited to develop our service and are seeking a Move On Volunteer to become part of our team, specifically to support delivery of a weekly drop in service run out of our New Street Centre.
