It’s fantastic that you’d like to find out more about volunteering at St Mungo’s. Can you speak: Romanian; Italian; Spanish; Polish; Slovakian; Romani; French or Arabic and want to support our team on the front line making first contact with people who are rough sleeping? As an Outreach Volunteer you will be assisting Outreach Workers to carry out shifts, adding vital capacity to the team, and enabling us to engage with more rough sleepers who have been referred both via StreetLink and those already known to the team.
Please see all locations and the time commitments we are currently recruiting for in this role:
- Bristol – 1 shift per week between 6am – 11am, any weekday, or 1 shift per weekend between 7am-11am. You can also make a fortnightly commitment to this if you can’t commit to weekly session (Involves a lot of walking, must be able to speak: Romanian; Italian; Spanish; Polish; Slovakian; Romani; French or Arabic)
