Accommodation Peer Support Volunteer

It’s fantastic that you’d like to find out more about volunteering at St Mungo’s. As an Accommodation Peer Support Volunteer, you will be drawing from your own lived experience of homelessness and working to build trust and rapport with the clients that you support. You’ll support and guide clients through their recovery journey and help to achieve short term and long term goals. You will work to support clients practically; this could include supporting with inducting new clients, registering with a GP; liaising with benefit agencies; attending appointments, preparing individuals for move-on, providing drop in peer support sessions for clients etc. You may also be asked to provide more general support in the project.

• Hackney- Monday-Friday, 4-6 hours per week (one day)
