Literacy and numeracy volunteer

The Recovery College runs a wide variety of courses delivered in partnership with people who have lived experience of homelessness, mental health and using St Mungo’s services.

As a recovery college tutor you will be leading sessions and drop in activities in Literacy, ESOL or Maths. You don’t need to teach all three subjects, just one will suffice. The role will include facilitating lessons or drop on sessions in ESOL, literacy or numeracy and creating a friendly and inclusive learning environment. This role will be based at West London Recovery College Hub, 13 Market Lane, off Goldhawk Road London W12 8EZ.

Ideally the volunteer will have teaching experience in English, Maths or ESOL.

Please note this is a client facing role. A DBS check will be carried out for this role.

The closing date for applications is Friday 25 January 2019 however recruitment for this role may be closed earlier depending on the volume of applicants.
