Ending homelessness, rebuilding lives

Will you help someone sleeping rough this Christmas?

For Jim, the lack of a support network meant a life on the streets.

A life on the streets meant constant danger.

Please help us change the life of a person affected by homelessness this Christmas.

St Mungo's is here for anyone experiencing homelessness

After a hard childhood, Jim left care at 17 and was given a few pounds to start a new life of his own. Without the support he needed, he became homeless and slept rough for many years.

After years struggling to cope, Jim met St Mungo’s project workers who helped him start to rebuild his life.

When asked what would have happened without St Mungo’s, Jim has no hesitation saying “I’d be dead by now. Guaranteed.

Jim now has a permanent home. He has reconnected with his sister and niece, and often travels to the coast to spend time with them. Jim now volunteers with St Mungo’s and now plans to work as a mentor to help other people who have experienced homelessness.

Add St Mungo’s to your Christmas list to help us get someone like Jim off the streets and into somewhere safe and warm.

Your support could help them take the first steps towards rebuilding a new life.
