Can you have a hard conversation?
Lula is a Housing First Coordinator at St Mungo’s. Previously she completed an MA in Contemporary Art Theory, where there was a strong focus on contemporary injustice, philosophy and critical theory.
Although not immediately apparent, her studies have helped her to build up the emotional intelligence needed to understand how someone can become homeless. This has been vital in her role, helping her to take an empathetic outlook when supporting vulnerable people.

Can you build relationships?
Simon is a Service Manager at St Mungo's. Before joining us in various roles, he worked as an IT Recruitment Consultant.
Although recruitment wasn't really for him, Simon has found that the relationship building and negotiation skills he has developed from this experience have been vital in his roles at St Mungo's. Especially when advocating for people experiencing homelessness to ensure they receive the support they deserve.
