During December staff from St Mungo’s have worked closely with clients from the organisation’s client representative group ‘Outside In’, and students from our Recovery College to create the first episode of our very own podcast. Our team have chosen to call the first episode of this podcast ‘Inside Out: A Very COVID Christmas’
Throughout the creation of this podcast clients have been directly involved in creating the various segments featured, researching, writing, presenting and editing, and it has been an extremely fun and rewarding process. In this first episode staff and clients subsequently discuss their favourite things about Christmas, share their stories and traditions, poetry and music, as well as offering their tips for keeping well across the holiday season. For this first episode we were also joined by St Mungo’s CEO Steve Douglas CBE who kindly gave up his time to talk about his time with the organisation thus far and what he hopes 2021 will bring.
The creation of this podcast has been a huge team effort. Everyone involved has worked extremely hard and we very much hope that you enjoy it. We also hope for this is the first of a series of podcasts to come during 2021 and would love to hear from any clients who might be interested in taking part.
