About the event

The Hampton Court Palace Half Marathon offers a unique 13.1mile experience beginning within the historic palace gates and finishing in the stunning palace gardens. This flat, fast course follows scenic riverside paths along the Thames, and takes runners across Kingston Bridge before looping back toward the palace. Along the way, you’ll enjoy views of Tudor architecture, tranquil parkland and centuries old landmarks, all within one of the UK’s most atmospheric race settings.

Perfect for both first timers and seasoned runners, this event blends rich royal heritage with an inspiring race day atmosphere—complete with sweeping palace vistas, historic grounds, and an unforgettable finish inside one of Britain’s most iconic attractions.
