Get involved

We are committed to actively involving you in all aspects of our work.

Working in partnership

We want to work in partnership with you and for you to feel you are involved in your own recovery Journey. That is the first step to you feeling involved and engaged at St Mungo’s

We define involvement as

  • Actively involving you in all aspects of St Mungo’s work.
  • Ensuring you have a meaningful say in decisions that affect you.
  • Working with you in partnership, putting put your views, needs, aspirations and knowledge at the heart of what we do.

Involvement can happen in different ways and varies in commitment.

Whether you are supporting the recruitment of new staff, sitting on our Client Advisory board or contributing to a residents meeting, you have opportunities to shape the direction of the organisation and have a say in decisions which affect you

In your service

Ways you can get involved with activities in your service include:

  • Attending (or co-facilitating) local client forum/house meetings
  • Joining staff team meetings to influence decisions within a service
  • Becoming a client representative
  • Joining a walking group or take part in an activity
  • Providing feedback through surveys, feedback cards and involvement sessions
  • Becoming part of a staff recruitment panel (speak to your Service Manager or support worker) – (when ready upload video of bite size interview skills for clients)

If you don’t live in one of our services speak to a support worker who can advise of either St Mungo’s involvement activities you can access, or community-based support.
