Care services

St Mungo’s operates two care homes to provide accommodation for people who require nursing or personal care, adults under 65 years and over 65 years; and adults who have mental health conditions or substance use issues.

Overview

The difference between care services and supported housing is that care services are able to carry out regulated activities including administration of medicines and the delivery of personal care.

How does it work?

We run two registered care homes aiming to provide a high level of care to older men with complex needs, including poor physical health. These care homes provide a long term secure environment for residents who have been homeless or slept rough during their lives. Our care homes are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and social care in England, which ensures that services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate and high quality care.
