Psychologically Informed Environments: a literature review

There is a growing amount of literature available on the high levels of psychological and mental health problems that affect people experiencing homelessness

This paper provides a review of the evidence in relation to the effectiveness of Psychologically Informed Environments (PIEs) for single homeless people.

This paper employs a multi-stage approach incorporating both peer-reviewed evidence and grey literature. The current search strategy used a structured search via academic databases as well as a substantive grey literature search and expert interviews.
