About the role

It is fantastic that you would like to find out more about volunteering at St Mungo’s. Are you passionate about food and making a difference in people’s lives? As a Kitchen Volunteer you will be supporting our dedicated kitchen team at a supported accommodation service for individuals with complex needs including mental health and substance use. Please do see the role description for more information on the tasks involved in this role.

*Please note a Level 2 food hygiene certificate is required for this role. This can be completed online that St Mungo’s will organise.

Please see all locations and the time commitments we are currently recruiting for in this role:

  • Lewisham- Between Monday- Sunday, 2pm-7pm, 5 hours per week.

– Please look at the time commitments and locations required for this role and be sure you are able to commit. This role requires a 6 month commitment.

– A DBS check will be carried out for this role as it is a client-facing role.
