Move On Volunteer

About the role

It’s fantastic that you’d like to find out more about volunteering at St Mungo’s. As a Move On Volunteer, you will support clients to develop the practical life skills, confidence and resilience needed to sustain their own accommodation. This may include helping clients understand tenancy responsibilities, develop budgeting skills, access benefits such as Universal Credit, search for suitable housing, and build positive social networks.  This volunteering opportunity is based within our Somewhere Safe to Stay West service, located near Earl’s Court station in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC). We particularly welcome applications from people who live locally, as our service is committed to creating positive community impact by involving and working alongside residents from within the borough. This is a great opportunity to support your local community while helping people move towards independent living.
