About the role

It’s fantastic that you’d like to find out more about volunteering at St Mungo’s. As an Outreach Peer Support Volunteer, you will be using your own lived experience to support our clients. We are looking for a volunteer who will assist the Westminster outreach team to carry out shifts and look for referrals. You will gain experience of engaging with those sleeping rough and, using your own lived experience, build trust and rapport with them to empower them to work with us to achieve their recovery goals.

*This opportunity is only open to people who have lived experience of either homelessness or mental health challenges or have a history of offending or accessing support services.

Please see all locations and the time commitments we are currently recruiting for in this role:

  • Westminster- 6am-10am, one shift per week (Friday’s are preferred).
