In 1969, a group of people were shocked by the number of people sleeping rough in London and resolved to do something to help. St Mungo’s was born and Harry has been there since the beginning. Harry looks back on his time volunteering in the 1970s; from finding the first St Mungo’s shelter in Battersea to doing a weekly soup run for those experiencing homelessness on the streets. This is his story.
