Setting up an online fundraising page with JustGiving is one of the quickest and easiest ways to boost your fundraising. This allows people to give digitally from anywhere, shows supporters how much you’re aiming to raise and what St Mungo’s means to you. Find out more about setting up your fundraising page here.

Most people will get paid at the end of the month. Keep this in mind when sending updates about your fundraiser as you might find some of your network might have some additional spare change.

If you have set yourself a really high target, consider subsidising this with smaller events in the run up. For example, you’re hoping to raise £2,000 hiking the 3 peaks and in doing so you’ve set up monthly bake sales at work to engage colleagues and support with fundraising.

Been thinking about a clear out? This would be the perfect time to sell items which can be used for fundraising. A bootsale would make a fun Sunday activity, Ebay for higher value items and Vinted works really well for selling unwanted clothing.

Ask your employer if they are part of the Matched Giving scheme – you will probably need to check with HR. Many companies participate in this and will match the amount you raise, doubling your contribution.
