Phil Spencer MBE is a renowned presenter, author, businessman, and property investor. As the co-presenter of the long-running Channel 4 series Location, Location, Location, he has become one of the most recognisable faces on British television and is widely regarded as an expert in all things property-related. Over the past 25 years, Phil has hosted numerous TV series, including New Zealand’s Best Homes with Phil Spencer, where he explores some of New Zealand’s most stunning and desirable homes – Phil continues to be a key figure for Channel 4’s viewing audience.
Beyond television, Phil has published books, written regular columns and features for leading newspapers and lifestyle magazines, hosted radio shows, taken on significant charity challenges, produced apps, and established and managed three successful businesses. In 2018, he founded Move iQ, fulfilling his long-held ambition to provide top-level property advice and guidance to a broad audience.
Phil has been a dedicated supporter of St Mungo’s for over 19 years and became Patron in 2010. Throughout the years, Phil has continued to support and engage with St Mungo’s work through visits and volunteering at various projects and services and by supporting numerous events and fundraising activities. Phil was announced as a Member of the Order of the British Empire in the 2026 New Years Honours, in recognition of charitable services and his work as a long-standing patron of St Mungo’s.
