At North Star we offer mental health support for people experiencing dual diagnosis difficulties.
We work with people who are: homeless or at risk of homelessness (including level 1 & 2 pathway projects/hostels); experiencing co-occurring mental health and drug/alcohol needs (you don’t need a mental health diagnosis to get support); who are not linked in to other services. We aren’t suitable for people who are accessing secondary mental health services who currently have an allocated care coordinator or are engaged in other ongoing support around their mental health.
We believe in providing mental health support to our clients wherever they are at on their journey of change. We aim to provide support that is accessible across the varied levels of engagement and stability a client may be experiencing. This includes:
